Load Chime is a browser productivity extension published by Satwik Sakkirala. It does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.
Information processed and stored locally
Load Chime stores the following preferences in Chrome extension storage:
- Whether alerts are enabled.
- Website coverage mode.
- Minimum load-time threshold.
- Selected built-in sound.
- Volume.
- An optional user-selected custom audio file and its filename.
A custom audio file remains on the user's device and is used only to play the selected alert.
ServiceNow website access
On pages matching https://*.service-now.com/*, Load Chime locally checks
document readiness, selected visible loading indicators, classic gsft_main
frames, and route-change signals. This processing is used only to decide when a page
appears ready and whether an alert should play.
Load Chime does not retain or transmit ServiceNow page content, form data, credentials, cookies, record values, page titles, or URLs.
Other websites
When all-websites mode is enabled, Load Chime uses Chrome tab loading and completion events to time full browser navigations and reloads. The generic detector does not inspect page content, form data, page titles, URLs, or network-request contents.
Network activity
Load Chime makes no external network requests and includes no analytics, advertising, tracking, or remotely hosted code.
Data sharing and sale
Load Chime does not sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties.
Data deletion
Users can replace stored preferences from the extension popup. Removing the extension from Chrome deletes its locally stored settings and optional custom audio.
